DILL Master Student Research Colloquium

  Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione, Parco Area delle Scienze, 181/a, 43124 Parma (and in videoconference) Friday, October 21st, h. 10:00-13:00 DILL Consortia is excited to announce the first ever DILL Master's Student Research Colloquium. On Friday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. in the Department of Information Engineering, DILL master's  students will have the opportunity to give a lightning talk style presentation on any project, research, practicum/internship experience done or to be done in DILL. Lynn Silipigni Conway, president of ASIS&T, participates on the expert Panel and introduces the Colloquium Students will have the opportunity to network with colleagues, ask questions to the Panel, and discuss their research projects in an open environment. If they cannot participate in presence, they should send a short video. All the students will prepare one POSTER and the best poster and presentation will receive an award. Submissions should be posters (If not present in Parma, submissions should be short videos similar to lightening talks) in which the dissertation research, related to the broadly defined information field, is presented. Submissions should be related to one or more of the Digital Library themes and they should contain:
  •  a clear formulation of the research topic and research hypotheses;
  •  an outline of the significant problems in the field and their current solutions;
  •  a description of the proposed methodological approach;
  •  a discussion of expected (-preliminary) results;
  •  a plan (-evaluation) of the research
